The Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social is pleased to announce the addition of two new degress for you. Check them out and contact us if you want more details.

 Combined M.P.H./Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management. The Department of Health Policy and Management in the Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work and the Health Management Programs in the Chapman Graduate School of Business are jointly offering a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management.  An M.P.H. with a specialization in Health Policy and Management provides students with grounding in public health, health policy analysis, health economics, public health leadership, and an introduction to qualitative and quantitative research methods.  The Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management is designed to provide breadth of knowledge in the healthcare management field.  The objective of the graduate certificate is to provide individuals with the basic understanding of management, operational, and reimbursement issues challenging today’s health care organizations.

Combined M.P.H./Ph.D. The Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work and the Department of Public Administration in the College of Arts and Sciences are jointly offering a new joint Master of Public Health (M.P.H.)/Ph.D. in Public Affairs.  An MPH with a specialization in Health Policy and Management provides students with training in public health, health policy analysis, health economics, public health leadership, and an introduction to qualitative and quantitative research methods.  The Ph.D. in Public Affairs extends this training in public health to develop scholars for faculty and research positions in academics and high-level administrative positions in public, non-profit, and private sectors.  Doctoral training focuses on creative problem solving, leadership, and management in complex urban environments in the United States and international settings.
