The FIU Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work announces the availability of its new Accelerated Master of Public Health Track. This new track will allow students to complete their MPH degree in one year instead of two.
The track will be available in the following specializations:
- Environmental & Occupational Health
- Health Policy & Management
- Health Promotion & Disease Prevention
This track is well suited for pre-med students and professionals looking to obtain a degree in less time.
Applicants to the M.P.H. program (EPI, HPDP, EOH, HPM) at or above the 75 percentile of GRE (in both verbal and quantitative) will be given an option to apply for the 1-year accelerated track at admission. Applicants eligible for an exemption of GRE (e.g. US Medical graduates) will be given the 1-year accelerated track option as well. Such requests will be evaluated by the admission committees for final decision.
