Brogan Hartlieb to present in Berlin

Kathryn E. Brogan Hartlieb, Ph.D., R.D.

Dietetics & Nutrition faculty member Kathryn E. Brogan Hartlieb, Ph.D., R.D. is presenting at the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers 2015 Forum taking place in Berlin, Germany, Oct. 15-17. Based on findings from her research, she’ll be leading a one-hour workshop on training providers in the use of Motivational Interviewing with families for health behavior change.

Brogan Hartlieb will also participate in two panel discussions on training medical students and medical faculty in Motivational Interviewing, funded by the Ware Foundation. She’ll be working in collaboration with David Brown, MD of the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

An active member of the MINT since 2009, Brogan Hartlieb received her Ph.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and completed a pediatric nutrition fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Before joining FIU Stempel College she was a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
