Dietetics and Nutrition ranked #5 for best overall program, according to College Factual

The Dietetics and Nutrition program at Stempel College has been ranked fifth for overall best program in the 2020 rankings by College Factual, a website designed to help college-bound students identify their best fit in higher education.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by College Factual for this ranking,” said Adriana Campa, chair of the department of Dietetics and Nutrition. “Our faculty are dedicated to ensuring that every student receives the quality education that will set them up for the future.”

Additionally, the dietetics and nutrition program ranked first for veterans, second for non-traditional students, sixth for most popular and ninth for best value. For the ranking, College Factual compared 66 dietetics and nutrition programs nationwide.

According to College Factual, “Florida International University is the top choice if you are interested in a degree in Dietetics & Clinical Nutrition Services. In addition to its bachelor's programs, Florida International University offers graduate degrees in Nutrition.” Approximately 60 percent of the dietetics and nutrition faculty are full time, and they are all dedicated to helping students succeed.

College Factual’s rankings are determined by how popular the program is, the resources devoted to it within the institution and how well graduates of the program are doing in the workforce. The website states that it’s “goal is to generate $1 billion in better college decision making this year.”
